For sale is a large 14k yellow gold Australian Andamooka black boulder opal ring.  This opal was mined in the Andamooka opal fields in South Australia.  This opal is a very large, slightly domed oval.  The matrix is charcoal gray.  The opal is subtle in dim light, and sparkles with glittering pin-pricks of neon green, yellow, peacock blue, cherry red, purple and orange opal fire in the sunlight.  This opal is magical and mercurial, ever-changing as you move it in the light.  The opal is secure in a hand-crafted crown setting and framed in gold with a twisted rope design.  The opal is backed in gold. This is an unusually large and vibrant opal ring.  It could be worn beautifully by either a man or a woman.
